Bulk Fish Oil comes in two general varieties: 18/12 and 30%. Both refer to the general level of omega-3 in the oil. In 18/12 the levels of EPA and DHA are set in the specifications to 18% EPA and 12% DHA. In what is generally considered a lower grade ( 30% fish oil ) the levels of EPA and DHA are not specified and therefore, depending on seasonal variations, could be any ratio of EPA or DHA as the total is 30%.
Derived from sea-harvested small planktivorous pelagic fish such as sardines our Fish Oil has a characteristic brilliant gold appearance. Additionally, Fish Oil enjoys self affirmed GRAS status and can be certified Kosher upon request making it suitable for food applications.
The typical cholesterol level of Fish Oil is approximately 1%. However, levels as low as 0.2% can be obtained upon request.
In addition to providing bulk oil in totes and Drums, material can be ordered in bulk softgel form as well.
